Before You Review Your Options
Your employer determines which benefits and medical plan options are available to you. Before making an election, confirm the benefits offered by your employer and review the applicable plan materials, rates, provider networks, and out-of-pocket costs.
If you believe you are eligible for a benefit that is not currently available to you, contact your employer or Member Services for guidance.

Preparing for Open Enrollment
Active employees should:
- Confirm which benefits and medical plan options their employer offers.
- Review 2027 rates and expected payroll deductions.
- Compare deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket limits.
- Confirm that preferred providers participate in the applicable network.
- Complete any benefit changes by November 15.
- Ensure employer approval for any enrollment changes are completed by November 20.
- Re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Plan if they wish to participate in 2027.
- Direct eligibility and enrollment questions to Member Services.
Employees who do not wish to make changes to their medical, dental, or vision benefits for 2027 do not need to take action during Open Enrollment. Existing elections will remain in effect unless changed.
Exception: Flexible Spending Plan elections do not automatically carry forward. Employees who wish to participate in the Flexible Spending Plan in 2027 must re-enroll during Open Enrollment.
Important Information
This page provides a general overview and does not replace formal plan documents, summaries of benefits and coverage, policies, or enrollment materials. Eligibility, coverage, benefits, limitations, exclusions, and administrative requirements are governed by the applicable plan documents. If information on this page conflicts with a formal plan document, the plan document controls.
Rates are only one component of the cost of coverage. Review deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, out-of-pocket limits, provider networks, prescription drug coverage, and formal plan materials before making an election.
