Request a CARES Act Hardship Withdrawal

Please be  advised of the following:

1. Hardship withdrawal request​s must meet the guidelines found in Section 4.15 of ​the plan document for The Annuity Plan for the United Church of Christ.
2. Hardship withdrawals are available only from your personal employee contributions to your account (employer contributions are not eligible).
​3. The amount of the withdrawal is limited to no more than 50% of your personal contributions, up to a maximum of $100,000.
4. Your hardship distribution may be paid back according to the CARES Act rules, however, if your withdrawal is not paid back​, there may be a significant impact on your retirement ​income benefit.

You may request a distribution by filling out and electronically signing an online form

Using the electronic form eliminates mail delay​s and allows your withdrawal application to be received and processed more quickly
