On April 2, 2012, Express Scripts announced the completion of its merger with Medco Health Solutions, the UCC Medical Plan's pharmacy benefits manager. Below are answers to frequently asked questions about the merger and your pharmacy benefits.
Are my pharmacy benefits affected?
There is no change to your pharmacy benefits as a result of the merger. UCC Plan participants will continue to have access to the same medications, pharmacies and clinical experts, at the same copayment levels.
What pharmacy networks are in place in the combined company?
Plan participants will be able to access the same retail pharmacies they used prior to the merger.
Whom do I contact with questions about my prescriptions?
Plan participants can continue to use the same Medco customer service number (1.800.939.3781), website (www.medco.com) and mobile app to manage their accounts.
