Pension Boards’ Health Plan Operations Director Frank Loiacono has been named a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), the nation’s leading professional society for health care leaders. To achieve the FACHE designation, Loiacono, who has served the Pension Boards since 2007, met numerous professional development requirements, including passing a comprehensive examination, meeting academic and experiential criteria, earning continuing education credits and demonstrating professional and community involvement. Fellows must also undergo recertification every three years.
“We are very pleased that Frank has achieved this professional distinction,” said Pension Boards President and CEO Michael A. Downs. “At a time when all health plan providers are preparing for the changes mandated by the Affordable Care Act, Frank’s experience and depth of knowledge will enable us to continue to provide the best possible service to our members.”
